We’re still excited by the numbers coming back from Philly Tech Week 2012: more than 10,000 attendees at 88 events across 8 days.

One of those events, hosted by Technically Philly, was the startup demo presentation event Switch Philly. Watch a recap of Switch above or in full-resolution at Vidder.

Judged by Mayor Michael Nutter, First Round Capital Managing Director Josh Kopelman and Robin Hood Ventures Executive Director Ellen Weber, the event gave five promising startups the chance to pitch to a packed audience at the University of the Arts’ Gershman Hall.

SnipSnap, an iOS application to digitize coupons, won an extensive prize pack.

SnipSnap, an iOS application to digitize coupons, won out Switch Philly 3, the startup demo event, Wednesday night. An Android version of the app is coming, Mann has said.

Presented by founder Ted Mann, who won Mobile Monday to earn the spot, was eager to add a piece of news to his Switch presentation, having pitched his app publicly before. And he did. SnipSnap is now live in the App Store.

Judged by Mayor Michael Nutter, who mentioned his being out of his element, venture capitalist Josh Kopelman and RobinHood Ventures Executive Director Ellen Weber, the Philly Tech Week event featured more than 100 attendees at the Gershman Y watching five startup demos. Mann and his team wins an extensive prize pack.

SnipSnap went last, preceded by the following:

• PalmLing: the mobile translation service, which announced if they get 100 new @replies by tomorrow, they’ll offer a coupon for your next travel.
• inHabi: the rental and apartment matchmaking service that recently caught some CityPaper coverage.
• Yagglo: the Startup Weekend winners are deploying a tablet-specific mobile browser
• Airtime: the service that makes it easy to target email signature branding and marketing

Switch Philly is all about showing off the great products being created by Philly companies every day. With that in mind, we’re excited to announce three of the five companies slated to demo during the Spring 2011 Switch Philly on April 26th at the Wharton School of Business during Philly Tech Week.

After the jump we preview the next three Switch presenters, including a company that makes Facebook more family friendly, another that will rock your next house party and a third that aims to make web video much more fun (and profitable).

cWyze – whose investors include former Philadelphia mayoral candidate Sam Katz – aims to take video advertisements to the next level making video advertisements more fun for consumers and more useful for advertisers.

Laan Labs will be showing off Tap DJ, the iPhone application that turns your phone into a fully functioning turntable set by pulling music directly from your iPod library. Read more about the application in our post yesterday about the iPhone dev shop.

A play off of the Hawaiian word for “family,” Ohanarama allows families to create private networks to play games over Facebook. Users can win prizes and coupons by competing with other families.
